The vast majority of our Year 13 students progressed onto their first choice of University study or into an apprenticeship or workplace of their choice. Happy faces and a few tears were seen as just reward for the hard work of students and staff. We’re extremely proud of our Year 13 students and wish them well in their future destinations. Thanks must go to students, their families and their teachers for the work that has gone into the last two years of post 16 study.
Examples of some excellent individual outcomes include: Michael Lillico achieved A B B B and has been accepted at York University to study law, Caitlin Birdsey heads to Glasgow University to study psychology with A B B C, Joshua Nichol Dis* A B C has been accepted at Northumbria University to study primary education, Luke Richardson achieved B B B B and will study mechanical engineering at Newcastle University and Ella Sutcliffe has been accepted at Northumbria University to study primary education with B B B B, Sam Costello leaves for America to take up a soccer scholarship in Ohio with Dis* Dis* Dis C and Maya Burns, Alysha Ferguson and Hannah Thompson all achieved Dis* Dis* Dis* and will study primary education at Sunderland University, childhood and early years at Northumbria University, and childhood etudies at Nottingham Trent respectively.
