Congratulations to speedy student, Tom, who came second in the 1500m race at Wentworth Stadium at the weekend, beating his personal best with an amazing time of 4.16!
Tom will now go on to represent Northumberland at the inter-counties competition on Saturday at Gateshead Stadium, a competition between the fastest runners from Cumbria, Cleveland, Durham and Northumberland.
Tom needs to knock a further ten seconds off his time to be considered for the English Schools competition - best of luck Tom, we know you will give it your best shot!
