Congratulations to our Year 7 student, Amy Collie, who has won the Ashington Town Council Christmas Light competition.
Our Year 7 pupils were asked to draw a Christmas memory to be judged by the Ashington town hall councillors.
Amy's design was based on her memory of a robin sitting on a snowy branch at Christmas.
The design was made into a large Christmas light which will give Christmas cheer along Ashington high street during the dark winter months.
Amy now has an extended invitation to switch on the Ashington town lights - well done!
