Students from all eight schools in the North East Learning Trust joined together to perform at the Sage in Gateshead on Monday for their summer concert spectacular.
Twice a year the Trust schools come together to showcase their incredible talent to parents, staff and students. Last night's show was the first to be held at the world-class venue - the Sage in Gateshead. The iconic landmark in Gateshead plays host to some of the most famous names in music including Blondie, James Brown, Bonobo, Andy Cutting, De La Soul, Nick Cave, George Clinton and more.
Five secondary schools and three primary schools took part, totalling 500 children, with an (almost) sell-out audience of 1400 in Hall 1! An unbelievable amount of talent was on show from solo performances to string groups and lots of talented choirs. There was even some dancing and impressive gymnastics.
