Last week our Year 10, 11 and sixth form netball teams had their first away trip up to Duchess school in Alnwick. Knowing that Duchess always have strong teams, there were a few nervous butterflies on the bus trip up the A1 - understandable as it was the first time the teams have travelled to play an away fixture in 2 years!
It was straight off the bus and onto the court for our netball stars. Our newly formed Year 10 team and well-established sixth form team took their positions and fought hard. Our sixth form team achieved a fantastic 17-5 victory before it was Year 11's time to step up to the court where they held the Duchess team to 3-3 draw.
