We are very proud to announce that Year 7 student, Emmie, has won the annual Ashington Town Council Christmas light competition with a fabulous design featuring a red-nosed reindeer wearing candy canes!
Emmie’s design has been manufactured into a glittering Christmas light and is hanging pride of place in the main shopping area of Ashington. Emmie and the Academy are also featured on the Ashington Town Council website.
Emmie has been awarded a letter from the town council, a certificate and a shopping voucher for her to spend. Congratulations, Emmie, your wonderful design has lit up Ashington!
