This week we're bringing a taste of Europe to Ashington!
In celebration of European Day of Languages on Monday, our wonderful catering team are continuing to offer their European themed menu every day this week!
On Monday, we brought Paris to Ashington with French cuisine on offer to all students. 'Le carte du jeur' included a delicious boeuf bourguignon avec gratin de pommes de terre et haricots verts, with a scrumptious tarte tatin for dessert!
We were then transported to Berlin on Tuesday with tasty schweineshnitzel mit bratkartoffeln und rotkraut, followed by apfelkuchen!
Yesterday, we swapped the Wansbeck for the streets of Rome with a mouthwatering Pizza Margherita and tiramisu!
Students and staff are encouraged to order in the language of the day and our international options have been 'un grand succès' so far. With two more days of our culinary journey to go, we cannot wait to see what further dishes await!
