We are incredibly proud of Thomas in Year 8, who represented our school at the Student Inclusion Council at Northumberland County Hall this week. Thomas has been nominated to represent the views of students with Educational Healthcare Plans (ECHPs) and to share ideas on how inclusivity and diversity in education in Northumberland can be improved.
Thomas spoke passionately and eloquently about his experiences so far in both primary school and also his transition to secondary school, and really enjoyed hearing the stories of his peers from across the county. Thomas will continue to meet with the group, comprised of students from 13 schools around the county, and we cannot wait to see what the students go on to discuss and plan! Well done!
