Last week, we hosted a family stargazing event where astronomers from Kielder Observatory brought along their inflatable planetarium and telescopes. Students and their parents were invited to take a tour of our solar system, followed by an amazing opportunity to observe the night sky through a telescope on the school field. We were blessed with a clear evening, so we had some excellent viewing of the moon and Saturn.
