Wow! We've had a fantastic day at Ashington Academy celebrating our Year 11 students' GCSE success!
Once again, we have had some brilliant outcomes in English and Maths, sustaining our successes from last academic year. Students have also achieved highly in a range of other subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Photography. Our students have achieved over 165 grades at a grade 7 or higher which is incredible! All of this is testament to the hard work of our students and the staff that have supported them throughout their five year journey in school. As ever, we are also very appreciative of the support of our students' families, especially in the run up to the exams.
We are very proud of all of our students for their hard work over the last few years and for what they have achieved. Some of our top performers include:

We are absolutely delighted that all of these students have now enrolled with NE6 and will be starting their Sixth Form study with us in September. This speaks to the great experience they have had at Ashington and the strong relationships they have built with staff here. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
