Our recent student and staff badminton tournament was a huge success! The first contest of the year saw sixth form and GCSE PE students sign up alongside staff for the set of big games.
There was some fierce competition as randomly selected duos competed as doubles in pools. Everyone involved competed hard in an attempt to gain as many points as possible until the top three teams from each pool were entered into a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place playoff. The final results were:
- 1st place: Mr Bainbridge and Harry (Year 11)
- 2nd place: Aaron and Daniel (Year 12)
- 3rd place: Mr Oxley and Jack (Year 11)
Mr Bainbridge and Harry took the doubles champion trophies home to place on the mantelpiece for the first half term! We'd like to give a huge shoutout to all of those that took part and we can't wait for the next round before Christmas!
